Be aware of some misconceptions about hearing and amplification! Technology is available that can do a lot for your hearing. We cannot reinstate normal hearing, but we can certainly make a significant improvement based on the hearing you have!

1. Sensori-neural losses cannot be helped with hearing aids

2. One-sided hearing losses don't benefit from hearing aids

3. Speech Discrimination cannot be improved

4. Marked high-frequency losses can't be helped

5. Mild losses don't benefit from hearing aids

6. Severe tolerance problems preclude the use of amplification
