Hearing aids can be financed. There are several ways to get them covered through direct financing or third party coverages.
WCB
If you've worked around noise for some of your occupational life you may qualify for WCB coverage. We can conduct the test and provide you with the claim application form.
DVA
If you've served with the military you may qualify for a hearing loss claim and/or pension with DVA. We can connect you to the District Office, conduct all required tests and provide any product they may cover.
AADL
Alberta Aids to Daily Living has coverage for Alberta seniors. There are 2 categories that cover either $708.75 or $945 towards one hearing aid every 5 years. We can provide this service to you.If you're approved for the $945 coverage you may be eligible for this program as well. The Special Needs Assistance for Seniors program provides a lump sum cash payment to allow lower income seniors with necessary purchases. Your monthly income and allowable expenses determine the amount of assistance you may receive. This is not determined by our clinic but by the Government.
