Community

Chinook Hearing Clinics is an active part of your community.

Chinook Hearing Clinics is involved with CUPS, the Calgary Urban Projects Society, by providing hearing services to the urban poor.  Partnering with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is another project whereby Chinook Hearing Clinics is the exclusive provider of all hearing services to the musicians of the CPO, past, present and future!  Rosebud Theater and School for the Arts is another partner. Chinook Hearing Clinics has provided infra-red listening systems for the hard of hearing so everyone can enjoy the performance. These are offered free of charge to Rosebud Theater patrons. We also host student interns from various Universities including the University of Western Ontario and the University of British Columbia. Chinook Hearing Clinics has also provided hearing conservation assistance to Race City, Johnny Rockets Car Wash and the Calgary Musicians Association. Chinook Hearing Clinics also sponsors the Foster Parents Plan. We are committed to giving back to the community on a local, national and global basis. Finally, old hearing aids are donated for parts to Help The Children Hear! Used hearing aids are being collected through the Rotary Club of Calgary Centennial and delivered to Argentina each year. The hearing aids are reconditioned and fitted to children at no charge to the child’s family. Audiologist Markus Hilbert is also an instructor at Grant McEwan College in the Hearing Aid Practitioner program.
