Enhanced listening devices allow you to hear better in very specific situations.  The most common are amplified telephones and wireless TV amplifiers. 

The Amplified Telephone that we recommend is intended for those with hearing loss and ideal for the bedside table when you need to hear on the phone but may not have your hearing aids in.

The Sennheiser 800 series wireless television amplifier allows the volume to be at a comfortable level for others while the person with impaired hearing can turn up the volume as desired. The benefit of using this over hearing aids is that there is direct feed from the sound source to the ears rather than being diffused through the environment

• The Set 810 system consists of a TI 810 infra-red stereo transmitter and an RI 810 infra-red stereo stethoset receiver. The TI 810 transmitter is simply connected to the headphone socket of a television set or hi-fi system. The stethoset receiver has a large, easy-to-use volume control.
